    Description

    Pictured is an uncommon Rockingham glazed yellow ware pitcher with a squirrel handle.  The pitcher is
    elaborately embossed with a hunter shooting a stag with a rifle on one side & a pair of hounds taking down
    a large boar on the reverse side.  The two seams are embossed with oak trees with branches below the
    rim filled with leaves & acorns.  The pitcher measures 9 1/4" in overall height & dates from 1880 - 1895.
    Notably, it's quite heavy.  It's in excellent condition with a tiny sliver on the inside right ear of the squirrel.
    No other issues whatsoever!  Rim, spout, base, body, perfect!
