Return Policy: eBay has recently instituted a minimum return policy of 30 Days (to be considered a "Top Seller") which for used and very often vintage equipment is, in my opinion, too long. And all I sell is used and vintage equipment. I've checked the "No Returns Accepted" box for every item I am offering for sale but that doesn't mean I won't stand behind what I'm selling.Unless otherwise stated every item will come with a 7 day return privilege from the day you receive it. This is something that I did way back when,
well before
eBay got around to instituting a return policy. And if I've made a mistake (I do on rare occasions) and it is not as described I will also pay for the return shipping. The buyer shouldn't have to pay for my mistakes. However, if you've purchased an item in error (e.g. an FD Canon manual focus lens to use on your EF mount autofocus digital body) or had a change of heart and no longer want the item within the first 7 Days then you're going to pay the return shipping as I shouldn't have to pay for your mistakes or post-purchase decisions. That seems fair to me.
I will also offer warranties of 30 Days or more on certain items. Expect to see that with more user oriented items than with collector oriented items.
Pexto 3418-H
Hello and thanks for looking. Roper Whitney Pexto 3418-H powered slip or initial pinch roll. Rated for 16 ga mild steel. 3" diameter by 48"+ long solid steel rolls with wire grooves. Rear roll is slotted for easier starting. All three rolls in excellent condition (I cleaned them up a little, you can make them shine if you want). 3 phase 3/4hp motor currently wired for 230/low voltage (pretty easy to switch it to 460). The "H" is the last motorized version Pexto produced (Roper-Whitney owned Pexto by this point). Serial number ends in 89 and I believe that means 1989 production so it's relatively young. And works perfectly. Power on. Push button switch to engage forward or reverse, with activation lights so you know which way it's set before engaging. Then use foot pedal to initiate motor and start rolling. Stops instantly when you release pedal (there's a brake assembly attached to the motor). Considerably heavier construction than the Jet/Enco/Baileigh etc. models rated for 16 ga being sold new today. About 1100-1200 lbs. It will outlast them all and run all day long. Come see it in person. Can load onto your truck or trailer but buyer must arrange shipping. Can also send video of it under power if you can't make it here easily. (I think ebay allows that). Again, thanks for looking - Bert
